Road salt, heat and cold can take a toll on paws. Cracks and dry patches appear that can be extremely painful for the animals. My handmade paw balm consists of natural, high-quality organic ingredients that reliably protect against drying out and make the pads supple. Injuries caused by grit, road salt, cold or rough surfaces are a thing of the past with our ointment for the paws for dogs - this is ensured by shea butter, Swiss beeswax and almond oil, which form a protective film around the paw. But that's not all: there are real power herbs in paw care for dogs and cats: marigolds, chamomile flowers, sheep's milk, ribwort plantain, lady's mantle and lavender. These are the ideal care for the skin after burns, swelling, sprains, wounds, scars or sunburn.

Application:
Before going for a walk, massage the paw balm generously onto and between the pads. After the walk, road salt residues should be carefully removed.

Main ingredients
Marigolds have antiseptic properties that are helpful in treating wounds. As a skin conditioner, calendula extract stimulates collagen production and also reduces the occurrence of dry skin. Calendula is a naturally occurring antioxidant.
Chamomile, with its anti-inflammatory properties, has a calming effect and the essential oils kill bacteria, thereby preventing or reducing existing inflammation
Lavender naturally reduces inflammation, relieves pain and cleanses the surface of the skin and paws. With its anti-inflammatory, antifungal, antimicrobial, and detoxifying benefits, lavender can help reduce redness, soothe skin, and quickly heal minor cuts and scrapes, as well as any rashes.
Yarrow is particularly beneficial in reducing inflammation; it is effective in speeding healing, softening skin, and keeping skin free of bacteria that can cause breakouts.
Lady's mantle contains many tannins that have antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects. The tannins support wound healing and help maintain the balance of the skin to prevent impure or dry skin.
Beeswax contains vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. All of these ingredients are beneficial for skin repair, cell growth and for neutralizing free radicals that damage DNA.

About me
All my products are handmade by me in very small batches in my studio in St. Gallen. My soap is cold process, which means I make the recipe from scratch with full control over all the ingredients. Each bar of soap matures for 4 to 6 weeks. This will ensure all the water has evaporated and will result in a tougher bar of soap that will last longer.
