  Road salt, heat, and cold can take a toll on paws. Cracks and dry patches can develop, which can be extremely painful for animals. My handmade paw balm consists of high-quality, natural, organic ingredients that reliably protect against drying out and keep the pads supple. Injuries caused by grit, road salt, cold, or rough surfaces are a thing of the past with our paw balm for dogs – thanks to shea butter, Swiss beeswax, and almond oil, which work together to form a protective film around the paw. But that's not all: This paw care product for dogs and cats contains powerful herbs: calendula, chamomile blossoms, yarrow, ribwort plantain, lady's mantle, and lavender. These provide ideal care for skin after burns, swelling, sprains, wounds, scars, or sunburn.

  Application:
  Before the walk, generously massage the paw balm both on and between the paw pads. After the walk, carefully remove any road salt residue.
  
  Main ingredients
  Calendula has antiseptic properties that are helpful in treating wounds. As a skin conditioner, calendula extract stimulates collagen production and also reduces the occurrence of dry skin. Calendula is a naturally occurring antioxidant.
  Chamomile, with its anti-inflammatory properties, has a calming effect, and its essential oils kill bacteria, thus preventing inflammation or reducing existing inflammation.
  Lavender naturally reduces inflammation, soothes pain, and cleanses the surface of the skin and paws. With its anti-inflammatory, antifungal, antimicrobial, and detoxifying benefits, lavender can help reduce redness, calm the skin, and quickly heal minor cuts, scrapes, and any rashes.
  Yarrow is particularly beneficial in reducing inflammation; it is effective in accelerating healing, softening the skin, and keeping the skin free of bacteria that can lead to outbreaks.
  Lady's mantle contains many tannins, which have antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. These tannins support wound healing and help maintain the skin's balance, preventing blemishes or dryness.
  Beeswax contains vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. All these ingredients are beneficial for skin repair, cell growth, and neutralizing free radicals that damage DNA.

  About me
  All my products are handmade by me in very small batches in my studio in St. Gallen. My soap is cold-process soap, which means I make the recipe from scratch with full control over all ingredients. Each bar of soap matures for 4 to 6 weeks. This ensures that all the water has evaporated and results in a harder bar of soap that lasts longer.
