Salzziege is a handmade salt soap made with Appenzell goat's milk from Gonten, Fleur des Alpes from the Swiss saltworks in Bex and Swiss honey.
Swiss Alpine salt gives the soap its distinctive firm texture. Goat's milk, honey, and a select blend of cold-pressed olive oil, sweet almond oil, jojoba oil, virgin coconut oil, and castor oil complete the carefully formulated recipe.
A pleasant lather is produced during washing. The soap cleanses the skin and leaves it feeling clean and cared for.
ABOUT FLEUR DES ALPES
Fleur des Alpes comes from the Swiss saltworks in Bex. Salt has been extracted there for centuries from the heart of the Swiss Alps.
The salt, protected in the rock, is extracted in Bex using a traditional method, making Salzziege a special soap creation with genuine Swiss character.

APPLICATION
Lather the soap with water in your hands. Gently massage the lather onto damp skin. Then rinse thoroughly with plenty of water.
Avoid direct contact with the eyes.
FRAGRANCE
Salt Goat has the scent "After the Rain". A fresh composition reminiscent of rain on warm stone.
Orange, fine mist, violet, peony, lily, jasmine and magnolia combine with essential oils of orange, eucalyptus and cedarwood.

Fresh weight: approx. 110 g
All my soaps are handmade and cut by hand. Therefore, weight, size, shape, color, and design may vary slightly from the product images. Each bar of soap is unique.
TIPS FOR EXTENDING THE LIFE OF YOUR SOAP
Place your soap in a well-ventilated soap dish where water can drain away. Do not leave the soap lying flat on the tiles or in a dish without drainage.
Make sure the soap can dry completely between uses. This will help it stay firm and last longer.

Salt (Fleur des Alpes), goat's milk, coconut oil, olive oil, castor oil, almond oil, sodium hydroxide for saponification, jojoba oil, Swiss honey, perfume and mineral color pigment.
INCI: Sodium Chloride, Caprae Lac, Cocos Nucifera Oil, Olea Europaea Fruit Oil, Ricinus Communis Seed Oil, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis Oil, Sodium Hydroxide, Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil, Mel, Parfum, CI 77007.
Fragrance ingredients containing the following ingredients that require declaration: Benzyl Benzoate, Limonene, Geraniol, Linalool, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone.
NOTES
For external use only.
Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water. Do not use if you have a known allergy to any of the ingredients. Discontinue use if skin irritation occurs.
Salt soap may cause a slight tingling sensation on freshly shaved, irritated, or broken skin. Do not use on open wounds.
Due to the almond oil it contains, this soap is not suitable for people with a severe nut allergy.
Not suitable for consumption.
ABOUT ME
All my products are handmade by me in very small batches in my studio in St. Gallen.
My soaps are made using the traditional cold process method. This means that I create the recipes myself from scratch, thus retaining full control over the ingredients used.
Each bar of soap then matures for four to six weeks. During this time, the soap loses some of its water content, becoming firmer and more economical. -

Tips to extend the life of your soap
Place your soap in a bowl that will drain (not flat on the tile or in a non-draining bowl!) And make sure it doesn't get wet between uses. This is optional, but it will definitely help your soap last longerHow long do your soaps mature?
My soaps mature 4 to 6 weeks open on the shelf so that they can dry well. My pure olive oil soap needs to mature for at least 6 months or more.
What do you use titanium dioxide for?
I use titanium dioxide to lighten the soap, depending on the raw materials, the natural soap can be green, yellow or brown. In nature, titanium dioxide is widespread in the form of the minerals rutile and ilmenite (together with iron). Titanium dioxide is non-toxic and not harmful to water.
Which soap for extremely dry skin?
All of my natural soaps are suitable for dry skin. Milk soaps in particular are ideal for dry skin.
PH of soaps, don't they dry out the skin?
Definitely no. Natural soaps (please do not confuse them with industrial soaps) are always basic. The pH value is 8.5 - 10. This is absolutely harmless to our skin. Amniotic fluid. E.g. has a pH value of 8.5 and let's be honest, is there a more beautiful and softer skin than baby skin?
What is NaOH?
NaOH aka caustic soda or sodium hydroxide is an essential ingredient in soap production. Our lye is made from common table salt dissolved in water, and electrodes add electricity to the mixture, creating chloride, hydrogen and lye. This material has been used in natural soap production for centuries. When used correctly, it can help make safe natural products. However, according to European cosmetic laws, you will not find sodium hydroxide on our labels as it is not included in the end products.
Can children use natural soaps?
Yeah sure! Children in particular benefit from the mild cleaning and natural care

It is very different. Raw materials such as rapeseed oil, sunflower oil, hemp oil, goat and sheep milk, honey, herbs and plants come from Switzerland.
Well-known raw materials such as coconut oil, shea butter, babassu oil, olive oil, grape seed oil etc. are often very transparent and easily traceable (fair trade etc.) available from wholesalers in the respective country. I don't use palm oil.
I try to avoid other raw materials or to reduce their consumption. Often I have to rely on my feelings. Transparency is important to me so that I and my customers can decide yes or no.
