    Viking Beard Oil

Be a Viking with viking beard oil – organic jojoba and sweet almond oil

The Viking beard oil makes your beard look healthy, well-groomed and shiny with just a few drops. It nourishes the beard hair and provides sufficient moisture. The cold-pressed grape seed oil contained in it is rich in fatty acids, vitamins and minerals. The jojoba oil oil and vitamin E protects the hair from drying out and keeps it moist. Split and dry hair tips have no chance thanks to the almond oil!

The beard oil acts like a protective coat around the beard hair and the skin underneath. This prevents skin and hair from drying out quickly, this also reduces possible dandruff. Your beard stays supple longer. Itching caused by the tips of the hair is reduced or completely eliminated.

The Viking beard oil is available in different fragrances or if you suffer from allergies in the Classic version also free of fragrances and perfumes.

Wash the beard well and then rub it dry. Now put a few drops of beard oil on the palm of your hand. Then rub the oil between your fingers and then with your fingers into your face. Remember to start with the skin under your beard and then work your way through the beard so that you spread the oil on all beard hairs.

Of course, how much beard oil you need depends on the extent of your beard. For an "average" full beard, you need about a 10-cent piece of oil the size of a 10-cent piece. If you are unsure, take a little less first. Nothing is worse than a beard dripping with oil!

Use beard oil daily (or twice a day for big problems) and your beard will thank you.

    Content: approx. 30ml or 15ml

    Main components:

Jojoba oil should not be missing in many cosmetic care products. This is due to the particularly nourishing effect of the oil for skin and hair. The other components of jojoba oil include vitamin E and provitamin A as well as vitamin B6 and various minerals.
Almond oil makes the skin hydrated and smooth. It also soothes dry and irritated skin by regenerating damaged cells. Almond oil naturally contains plenty of nutrients, especially vitamin E, the so-called tocopherol, which is often added to "anti-aging" products
Grape seed oil is an absolute universal oil that is suitable for any skin. Dry skin gives the oil moisture, inflamed, irritated skin is soothed and strengthened, the sebum production of oily skin undergoes regulation and impure skin benefits from the antibacterial effect of grape seed oil.

    About me
All my products are handmade by me in very small batches in my studio in St. Gallen, Switzerland. My soap is cold process soap, which means I make the recipe from scratch with full control over all the ingredients. Each bar of soap matures for 4 to 6 weeks. This ensures that all the water has evaporated and results in a harder soap bar that lasts longer.

Tips to extend the life of your soap

Place your soap in a bowl that will drain (not flat on the tile or in a non-draining bowl!) And make sure it doesn't get wet between uses. This is optional, but it will definitely help your soap last longer

How long do your soaps mature?

My soaps mature 4 to 6 weeks open on the shelf so that they can dry well. My pure olive oil soap needs to mature for at least 6 months or more.

What do you use titanium dioxide for?

I use titanium dioxide to lighten the soap, depending on the raw materials, the natural soap can be green, yellow or brown. In nature, titanium dioxide is widespread in the form of the minerals rutile and ilmenite (together with iron). Titanium dioxide is non-toxic and not harmful to water.

Which soap for extremely dry skin?

All of my natural soaps are suitable for dry skin. Milk soaps in particular are ideal for dry skin.

PH of soaps, don't they dry out the skin?

Definitely no. Natural soaps (please do not confuse them with industrial soaps) are always basic. The pH value is 8.5 - 10. This is absolutely harmless to our skin. Amniotic fluid. E.g. has a pH value of 8.5 and let's be honest, is there a more beautiful and softer skin than baby skin?

    What is NaOH?

NaOH aka caustic soda or sodium hydroxide is an essential ingredient in soap production. Our lye is made from common table salt dissolved in water, and electrodes add electricity to the mixture, creating chloride, hydrogen and lye. This material has been used in natural soap production for centuries. When used correctly, it can help make safe natural products. However, according to European cosmetic laws, you will not find sodium hydroxide on our labels as it is not included in the end products.

    Can children use natural soaps?

Yeah sure! Children in particular benefit from the mild cleaning and natural care

    Custom and personalized orders

Yes, of course I can. Just contact me directly, then we can discuss it.

Where do your raw materials come from?

It is very different. Raw materials such as rapeseed oil, sunflower oil, hemp oil, goat and sheep milk, honey, herbs and plants come from Switzerland.
Well-known raw materials such as coconut oil, shea butter, babassu oil, olive oil, grape seed oil etc. are often very transparent and easily traceable (fair trade etc.) available from wholesalers in the respective country. I don't use palm oil.

I try to avoid other raw materials or to reduce their consumption. Often I have to rely on my feelings. Transparency is important to me so that I and my customers can decide yes or no.
